I'm having problems trying to upload pics from my iphone, so that's where there is very little variety in the pics today. I"ll have to try from the desk top later i guess. anyway my sweet little lila bean is 6 months old already - can't believe she is halfway to a year! she's wearing 6 months in clothes, and size 2 diapers. well check is coming up this week so i'll get her stats then. we always seem to be running behind a week or 2 with all of our well checks. lila started eating solids right after 5 months, and she seems to love everything she's had: whole grain rice cereal, avocado, banana (those 3 were all she ate for 2 weeks before i got around to actually cooking other foods). then she went on to butternut squash, carrots, cauliflower and sweet potato. hmm what else... she's sleeping great still. she's kinda phased out her last little cat nap/dream feed. now she just eats instead of taking that nap and then goes to bed earlier, around 9-9:30 now, and she gets up around 8:30. i really couldn't ask for anything better! The boys go to bed a little before her, at 8. so they all get baths and stories at the same time, then boys go to bed, lila eats, then she goes to bed too. she's still nursing, and i plan on continuing for another month, then i'll make a decision on how much longer i'll go.
lila is now a roly poly! she's rolling all over the place and getting herself stuck under the furniture! she's in different position every morning too. it's crazy. she's doing pretty well sitting up too, but she still needs some support. in a week or two, she'll be a pro. i'm not in a big hurry for that bc i know what comes next!! Oh and lila got her ears pierced a few days ago... she looks so cute!!
