All ready to go! Austin already in his pj's since we were planning on getting to Amarillo after his bedtime.
Joey was happy to tag along for the ride!
Shortly after departing, I looked back and Austin was "reading" one of Daddy's car magazines very intently. Not sure where he got it from.
Can't cross the border without stopping for a picture. Good thing we stopped on the way, because when we crossed on the way home it was very late!

Stopped at Mickey D's in Trinidad to stretch our legs.

And this was the morning we were leaving. Daddy and Austin bringing the baggage cart back to our room. Everything from this point is on the way home.

We stopped to shop in Castle Rock
Started to go to Pike's Peak but didn't have enough time. We passed this Stagecoach Inn on the way... Didn't know there was more than 1?
Mommy learned the messy way that cheese doritos are NOT the best snack to have when traveling!
